For a book design project in university, I selected The Folk of the Air series by Holly Black to redesign. It was one of my favourite series as a teenager, but I felt that the existing designs did not measure up with the author’s quality of writing and the tone of the books. 

To create an effective redesign, I carefully selected typefaces, reread the books, chose important symbols to illustrate, and reworked interior illustrations.
