Sapphic Love is Radical: Zine
As a designer and artist, I believe it is my responsibilty to use my skills to communicate important information in accessible and clear ways. I let my morals and emotions guide me through the issues that are important to me, and zines are an excellent way to communicate the messages I need to. Zines are used to share ideas easily due to their low cost and reproducibility. Zines and other self-publications are often acts of resistance.
I created this zine to discuss the boundary-breaking nature of love between women. The zine was a method of processing my own thoughts and feelings, as well as communicating a message that was important to me. I utilised illustration, typography, and photography to create a short publication which I can reproduce and distribute very easily.
